Please, choose a quote (from a movie, book, etc.) that best describes you.

"My God, a whole moment of happiness! Is it that too little for the whole of a man´s life?" White Nights (Fyodor Dostoevsky). It reminds me that life is a constant drift, so your life will not always "be happy".

When did you start your studies and why did you choose the University of Miskolc?

I started my studies in the academic year 2022/2023. I chose the University of Miskolc because it offers a perfect environment for carrying out my studies. You can find almost everything you need on campus! Additionally, my program (PhD in Law) is well-structured and helpful in developing research skills in Law. The program is divided into two parts: two years of education and two years of research.

What are the places and activities that an international student should definitely try in Miskolc?

I think that every international student should try to visit Miskolctapolca. There is a beautiful park, and there is also a cave bath to relax. Another great place is the city center because there are plenty of opportunities to find good Hungarian restaurants and places to have a drink.

What are/were your biggest challenges during your studies and how did you overcome these challenges?

The biggest challenge is to adjust yourself to a new environment with new people, where everything is different. Sometimes, you will feel homesick. Additionally, at the PhD level, you have to publish and participate in different conferences with presentations, and this is academically demanding.

What skills and benefits have you already gained from studying at the University of Miskolc?

I have already gained a broader view of the world, sharing activities and making friends with people from different backgrounds from almost every continent. Furthermore, my research skills have been improving thanks to the lectures and activities that the university has organized for us.

How do you think your Miskolc University degree will help you in your life and career?

I believe that my PhD will open many doors for me at different universities and organizations due to the skills I will develop here in Miskolc. Furthermore, once I finish the program, my CV will be strong, considering that I will have some publications and presentations at conferences around Europe because they are requirements of the program.

What is the most important thing or advice you would recommend to active/future students of the University of Miskolc?

Try to be consistent, patient, and stay informed about the opportunities that the university offers.

If you could choose a superpower, what would it be and how would you use it to help active/future students of the University of Miskolc?

I would like to have the superpower of wisdom, so I could help students with good guidance through university issues.
