International Relations Office
Internationalization forms an integral part of the institutional development strategy of the University of Miskolc. The aim of the University is to provide its students, lecturers, academic and business partners with a stimulating and facilitative international environment where they can conduct research and carry out academic activities at the highest level.
In order to reach this aim, the University sets the following goals: increasing the quantity and quality of study programmes offered in English; increasing the incoming and outgoing mobility of students and staff as well as the number of visiting professors; increasing the number of double-degree programmes; creating a student-friendly international service network at the campus; developing the research portfolio of the faculties; creating an internationally active academic and research network of partner universities worldwide.
At present, the eight faculties of the university offer 13 full degree master and 6 doctoral study programmes in English. The number of courses offered in English for incoming exchange students exceeds 400. The constantly growing number of international students (degree and exchange) exceeds 450 in 2021.
