BUTA SINGH CHAHAL

 

Buta Singh Chahal, currently a PhD student at the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Informatics at the University of Miskolc, Hungary. His research is engrossed in renewable energy specifically in the field of biogas production systems. His topic of research is 'Optimization of mixing in an anaerobic digester'. He has also published numerous research articles in various international journals which includes one D1 and two Q1 journal research articles with high impact factor. During his research period he has participated in several international conferences across the globe. He is rewarded with many awards for his contribution in his field of research.

Buta Singh was also selected to participate in the EIT Climate-KIC program (The journey 2018) which is Europe's largest climate innovation summer school for graduates and young professionals. The journey was a five-week full time program focused on climate action, innovation, systems transformation and community building. He was also awarded with the best paper award at the International Conference on Mechanical, Materials and Renewable Energy at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology in 2019.

Apart from research Buta Singh also has a YouTube channel, content of which is mainly focused on the travel blogs and information about research field.
