Cooperation agreement with the University of Oradea

Leaders of the University of Oradea (Romania) visited ME on 5 April. Discussions were held to share information on the activities of each institution, strengthen future cooperation between the universities, and to form, build on and strengthen professional networks.

In the discussions several research fields were brought up that are particularly promising on faculty levels, such as energy management, economics, law and social sciences & humanities. The two institutions would like to carry out joint research within these fields. 

One factor behind the planned closer cooperation is the relatively small distance between the two universities (190 km), which makes it practical to carry out joint research within international grant programmes (such as Horizon 2020, V4 or HURO).
