University and faculty leaders made a visit to the University of Oradea (in Romania) on 29 May. This followed a visit by University of Oradea leaders to Miskolc on 5 April and discussions between their law faculty delegation and the ME law faculty held here at the beginning of May. The visit to Oradea served to further strengthen ties between faculties.
The University of Oradea is a higher education institution with 15 faculties: Arts; Construction and Architecture; Law; Geography, Tourism and Sports; Electrical Engineering and Information Technology; Energy Engineering and Industrial Management; Management and Technological Engineering; History, International Relations, Political Sciences and Communication Sciences; Letters; Medicine and Pharmacy; Environmental Protection; Sciences; Economics; Social-Humanistic Sciences; and Orthodox Theology. It is roughly 50% larger than ME in terms of the number of students and teaching staff. It is hoped that further developing ties with its faculties will bring about various opportunities for cooperation in the future.
