Campus visit by Beijing University of Chemical Technology delegation

In early June a short professional visit was paid to the University of Miskolc by members of the Beijing University of Chemical Technology, led by its president, Prof. Tan Tianwei. The five other delegation members represented areas of study in engineering and economic fields. On 2 July they met with Prof. András Torma, the rector, and with the directors of the Confucius Institute in Miskolc, Prof. Zhu Xiaoyuan and Dr. Dániel Kuttor). The institutions introduced themselves and discussed possible collaboration in both research and education. At the end of the visit both sides signed a five-year cooperation agreement. On the next day the group travelled to nearby Kazincbarcika to tour the Wanhua-BorsodChem plant. 

 

We are sure that this visit and the cooperation agreement will contribute to the further strengthening of Hungarian–Chinese ties.
