COMPUTERS DONATED TO HELP VILLAGE STUDENTS

16. June 2021.

Twenty personal computers and monitors have been donated by the university to the village of Kőtelek (population 1,600) for use by disadvantaged children.

Dr. Viktória Bardosné Soós, UM’s Chief Business Officer, pointed out that earlier, as a national university, it was not possible for the institution to make donations, but under the new system UM is now able to support residents of the region with pro bono activities, which is one of the aims of the institutional development plan of the university.
