CORNERSTONE OF LIBRARY EXTENSION IN PLACE

The cornerstone was laid for the newest UM building, the future home of the Centre for Academic Data Analytics and Archival Open Research Data Repository of the University of Miskolc. Construction is supported as a government investment, and cost of the building is around 10 billion forint.
Ambassadors of 18 nations attended the ceremony, during which a time capsule was put in place containing items such as a newspaper, song book, items used in traditional student activities, and a photograph of the library in its current state.
