ONE STEP CLOSER TO A “GREEN CAMPUS”

22. November 2021. 15:25

The very first Floewater vending machine in Hungary was displayed on the UM campus. It delivers pure water with no need for disposable packaging. Now thirsty students and staff can refill their own water containers with fresh filtered water, with or without bubbles.  This environment-friendly option is just one more step on the path to carrying out ME’s sustainability strategy, called the Smart&Green Campus.

If just 10% of Hungary’s population would refrain from buying any PET bottles for six months, and instead drink from a reusable container, then there would be 110 million fewer PET bottles placing a burden on the environment.

Floewater has been introduced by HELL ENERGY, a 100% Hungarian-owned company whose energy drinks are sold in aluminium cans for easy recycling, reflecting its move toward the circular economy.
