NEW EARTH SCIENCES COMPUTER LAB

Leaders of Hungarian oil company MOL visited campus on 22 April to see for themselves the upgraded possibilities for research with the most modern instruments, thanks to support from MOL.
The Faculty of Earth Sciences showed off its new computer facilities, with high-powered computers and the newest versions of modelling and simulation software for use by students and researchers. Besides helping preparing students for the job market, the new facility provides more powerful tools for research.
The laboratory was officially opened by Ádám Homonnay (MOL Vice President Upstream Hungary) and Prof. Gábor Mucsi (Dean, Faculty of Earth Science and Engineering).
