PSYCHOLOGICAL FILM CLUB LAUNCHED AT THE UNIVERSITY

A weekly film club focusing on human psychology has been launched at the University of Miskolc. If you're interested in psychology, want to practice your English or just want to watch a good film - the film club is for you!

The plan is to hold a film club once a week," said Mór Csorba, a psychologist in the Student Services Department, adding that the plan is for the participants of the film club to decide together which film to show next.

- As well as providing an enjoyable service for students, it will also show what psychologists do. We want to encourage students to come to our department with confidence if they have a problem," said Mór Csorba.

Valentin András Kovács, an MSc student in Management and Organisation, said that both his master's and bachelor's degrees are in fields that deal with people, so it was a no-brainer for him to participate in the first film club.

The films will be screened with English and Hungarian subtitles.
