JORDANIAN CONSUL RECOMMENDS THE UNIVERSITY OF MISKOLC

The international students returning for the new semester had a Welcome Day on campus, while the Hungarian students had a day of Erasmus experience, where the Honorary Consul of Jordan praised the educational quality of UM.

"Hungarian higher education has a very good reputation", said Naffa Zaid Ibrahim, Honorary Consul of Jordan in Hungary. He said that in addition to the good economic and political relations, higher education should also be highlighted when discussing the relations between Jordan and Hungary. In addition, "Hungary is beautiful, the people are nice, and geographically it is in a very good location".

In addition, the Consul has personal ties with the University of Miskolc: "I went to the Technical University of Budapest in the 1980s, which I consider to be a sibling institution of the former Technical University of Heavy Industry, so the University of Miskolc is close to my heart."

He stressed that the aim is to attract more students to Miskolc because of the high quality of education here.
