EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY GAMES 2024: PREPARATIONS WELL ON TRACK

With a year and a half to go until the European University Games 2024, a major European multicultural sporting event jointly organised by the University of Miskolc and the University of Debrecen, preparations are well underway. The European University Sports Association (EUSA) met a well-prepared and enthusiastic team of organisers during its recent visit to Miskolc.

"The biggest strength of organising the 2024 European University Games in Miskolc is that everything is in one place on campus, in the University City. From a logistical point of view, this makes it much easier to organise the competitions and accompanying events, with sports facilities and catering, accreditation and educational buildings nearby. What we have seen here in Miskolc serves the sporting event itself," underlined Miha Zvan, EUSA Sports Manager.

He found both the venues and facilities promising and was satisfied with the equipment and facilities.
