BADMINTON CHAMPS ARRIVE IN SUMMER 2023

The University of Miskolc is getting ready! We are preparing for the European University Games with the European University Badminton Championships in the summer of 2023. But how do the experts view the preparations, which are already well underway?

After visiting the competition and training venues, the University Sports Hall, the campus, and all of the main functional areas and facilities, Radomir Jovovic, the sports decision-maker for the 2023 European University Badminton Championships, said, “Two years ago we met the University of Miskolc team, then a small but very promising team. Now we see that this team is growing, and is full of very, very committed people."

In the context of the European University Games in Poland in 2022, the head of sports said that badminton was the biggest positive sporting surprise of the competitions. They would therefore like to see more university students not only competing but also enjoying badminton as a leisure activity.
