Poetry. A video poem was prepared for the Day of Hungarian Poetry by the University of Miskolc. On 11 April, the Dean and students of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences held a ceremony in Lillafured, the inspiration for Attila Jozsef's iconic love poem ’Ode’.

For contemporary voices. The prizes of the Contemporary Voices International Literary Competition were given at a gala ceremony. Three students of the University of Miskolc were awarded. The University of Miskolc and the Karoly Eszterhazy Catholic Univeristy have been organizing this talent supporting project for 19 years.

Sustainability. The Universitas Miskolcinensis Foundation and the University of Miskolc are coordinating a business conference on 18 May. At the Miskolc Campus Forum Green and Smart, awards for environmental, social and economic sustainability will be presented. "Be an Ambassador of Sustainability" call is open to secondary school nd university students.  Details on the university website.
