UNIVERSITY CLEAN-UP CAMPAIGN

The University of Miskolc once again joined Hungary's largest voluntary waste collection movement on Friday morning, 28 April.

TeSzedd! - Volunteer for a Clean Hungary is being organised for the 11th time with the support of the Ministry of Energy. The aim of the nationwide campaign is to make our environment cleaner through voluntary action. UM welcomed all employees and students to pick up litter in the

peripheral areas that get less attention, where illegal dumping is causing problems. Péter Boda, Head of the Directorate of Operations and Asset Development of UM, summarising the aim of the action, said, “these areas are not so visible, but I think that in every corner of the university, it is important to be clean and beautiful, and we, as staff, teachers and students, can help a little bit with this.”
