New and matchless. The University of Miskolc was the first in Hungary to add integrated industrial investment planning education to its training portfolio. This is the start of a new generation of higher education. Students learn about software that enables them to optimise the cost and more reliable operation of high-priority chemical and energy investment projects. The institute signed an educational licence agreement with AVEVA, a world-leading company.

An exceptional collaboration! For two months, the University of Miskolc and the University of Sopron were raising funds to restore the former Selmec Academy, which was damaged by fire. The 22,000 euros to restore an irreplaceable European treasure was handed over to the mayor by the universities' leaders.

Nationwide roadshow. The National Atomic Energy Office raised awareness of the importance of science among secondary school students with a nationwide interactive exhibition at the campus.
