STUDENTS, WITH TEARS OF JOY

This year, the University of Miskolc and the city of Miskolc held the admission results waiting in the Csengey Garden in the centre of Miskolc. After the dot-drawing, it was revealed that nearly 80 percent more people were admitted to Miskolc in 2023 than in the previous year. The additional admission period, which starts in the next few days, also offers opportunities for those who want to go to university from September.

Before the official announcement of the thresholds, Mayor Pál Veres, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Universitas Miskolcinensis Foundation, spoke in his welcome speech about the path that leads to the adult, independent world after university admission.

In her welcome speech, the Rector of the University of Miskolc, Prof. Dr. Zita Horváth said: the number of Miskolc university citizens is expected to increase significantly this year. She is confident that they will find everything they need for a happy life on campus: the right knowledge and happy student years.
