Knowledge transfer. Strengthening the innovation skills of SMEs was the main objective of an international project in which the University of Miskolc participated. Training programmes were developed on digitalisation and customer-centric innovation. The final concepts of the Train-the-Trainer training were tested at the University of Miskolc. The training materials are available to SMEs, chambers of commerce and universities.

Freshers' Camp. The Student Government of the University of Miskolc invites first-year students to a five-day orientation camp from 27 to 31 August. In addition to the introduction of the university and the faculties, the UNESCO-protected Selmec traditions are presented before enrollment.

New under the sun. In spectacular steps, the former university library building is being renovated and extended to become a knowledge centre of European standard. The project is being financed by the Hungarian goverment with nearly HUF 10 billion.
