1 min UM: Intro Day – Awareness – Teaching

Intro Day. For the first time, the University of Miskolc organised a comprehensive introduction to university life for first-year students. In addition to student rights and study obligations, the event focused on services supporting everyday student life, community, cultural, leisure and sports activities.

Awareness. Media literacy is no longer enough to shape the digital future. New skills need to be acquired, including the ability to recognise malicious content and online empathy. This was highlighted by experts at a conference organised by the National Media and Infocommunications Authority, the University of Miskolc and CineFest International Film Festival.

Teaching. The tenth semester of the Teach for Hungary! programme, which was launched to support disadvantaged children, opened with a day of fun at the University of Miskolc. The programme's government commissioner, László György, handed over two minibuses to support the work.
