Student Opinion on Teaching

Dear Students!

We would like to inform you that the Student Opinion on Teaching (OMHV) questionnaires are expected to be available between 4 March and 10 April 2024. The range of lecturers and subjects or courses to be included in the evaluation has been defined by the Faculties in their sampling plans.

They will be informed of their participation in the surveys by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address provided on Neptun. Anonymity is fully guaranteed during data collection and evaluation. The Evasys system will automatically send a participation reminder every 3 days for surveys that have not yet been answered. (The system will only and exclusively retrieve information on whether or not a response has been received from a given e-mail address for a given survey. Responses received cannot be matched to e-mail addresses. This has been taken care of by the system developers to ensure anonymity and is stored elsewhere at database level.)

The aim of the OMHV questionnaire is to contribute to the improvement of the quality of education at the University of Miskolc by getting students' opinions. According to Article 19. § (2) e) of the Student Requirement System, students are obliged to give their opinion on the work of the teaching staff, therefore we kindly ask you to take the time to fill in the questionnaire and give us your opinion. The maximum time required to complete a questionnaire is 3-5 minutes. It will help teachers to get important feedback on the subjects taught and the teaching methods.

The aggregated results of the surveys will be available on the Quality Assurance section of the University website.

To encourage people to respond, we are organising a prize draw with the help of the Communication Centre, so keep an eye on the University's communication platforms and your Neptun mailbox.
