Dr. Marcell Gáspár, is Head of the Department of Structural Integrity at the Institute of Materials Engineering and Materials Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Informatics. "Being a researcher can be a competitive career for a young person", says the new Bolyai fellow. The Bolyai scholarship is a highly competitive three-year scholarship for outstanding researchers, and Dr. Gáspár won the post-doctoral scholarship after persistently applying and steadily building up his publication record.

The extreme weather has already threatened waterways and the life in them: many fish have died, the Bársonyos stream near Miskolc has dried up, part of the Tarna River near Kompolt has disappeared, and Lake Venice and the Tisza River are also at risk. WORK BEGINS ON PROJECT TO ACHIEVE CLIMATE NEUTRALITY

A joint R&D project for the construction and testing of natural gas transport system components capable of transporting natural gas with a hydrogen content of up to 10% was launched in April this year with the participation of the University of Miskolc and FGSZ Natural Gas Transmission Ltd..
